What is the Dependent and Independent Variable in this experiment?

Suzy annd Daniel are testing to see if plant a which is getting no sun light will grow faster then plant B wich is getting sunlight.

Plant A and B are both getting the same amount of water and tempeture.

So what is the constant in the experiment and the Dependent and Independent Variables? What is the Dependent and Independent Variable in this experiment?
the amount of water and temperature are constant, the level of sunlight is the independent variable, and the amount of plant growth is the dependent variable.
The independent variable is, roughly, the one that you are changing yourself, to see if it causes a change in the dependent variable.

So here water and temperature are held constant. Amount of sun is independent variable. Growth rate is dependent variable.

these are important concepts. Make sure you understand why what I said is correct. What is the Dependent and Independent Variable in this experiment?
The variables are most of the time things you can measure somehow. So Dependant is the height of the plant and the independent is how much water and the temperature you leave it in :)What is the Dependent and Independent Variable in this experiment?
I think the dependent variable is the rate of growth of plants and independent has to be temperature since B receives sunlight which leaves me the choice amount of water to be constant
