We placed 3 elodea plants each in three different solutions: one in NaCl solution, one in distilled water and the last one in the water from the elodea bowl. We waited 15 minutes and then we looked at each one and then we drew how they appeared. We were studying plasmolysis and turgidity, which basically means that were studying the flow of water movement in the plant cells.

Independent Variable: Salinity of water.
Dependent Variable: Appearance of Elodea.
