What is a independent variable and independent variable?

When testin a airsickness pill, what would be my dependent and independent variables? And how would I measure. What is a independent variable and independent variable?
the dose or time is independant %26amp; the reaction is independant

measure by....asking?? sickness isnt really something you measureWhat is a independent variable and independent variable?
Independent variable is the pill, dependent variable is outcome of taking pill. The way you should measure this is have an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group gets the pill before flying or whatever, and the control group doesn't. Record the outcome. However, you should try to use people for the experiment that you know get airsick. If not, you could possibly get a false positve or negative. What is a independent variable and independent variable?
The dependent variable is the condition of airsickness observed. The independent variables are the conditions you impose on the experiment, such as the pills or placebos you give to the people you are experimenting with. You measure the results of giving the pill to some people against the results of giving a placebo to others. That will determine whether the pill is effective.
