Experiment that looks at peoples age and education level they achieve, which is the independent variable?

I have differnt age groups and the highest level of education. I'm not sure which is the independent and which would be the dependent variable. can you please help.Experiment that looks at peoples age and education level they achieve, which is the independent variable?
Depends on what you're controlling for...what are you wanting your experiment to show?Experiment that looks at peoples age and education level they achieve, which is the independent variable?
well, it's not a true experiment, because you cannot manipulate age. At best, it is a quasi-experiment, but it sounds more like a correlation.

Regardless, from what you describe, age would be the independent variable, with education level being dependent on age.Experiment that looks at peoples age and education level they achieve, which is the independent variable?
Age is the independent variable. It grows automatically whether you learn or not. Education is the dependent variable because it depends on the interest, time and money.
