So I have to test this claim saying that this brand of paper plates are the strongest and im testing them against this other brand...so im going to keep piling the same kind of food until each plate wilts or bends.... So the IV is the brand of paper plate, since you're changing it.

How much food each plates hold is the DV, since you're measuring it.

The type of food is the constant since it's the same among all the plates.
