I don't get how to find the independent and dependent variable because sometimes they alter each others outcome. EG. The distance a jogger runs depends on the length of time she runs.
In this question i don't know which is the independent variable because the distance depends on the amount of time she runs, but the amount of time she runs changes the distance!?!?!?!How do I find the independent variable?
The independent variable in this question is probably the length of time, and the distance is the dependent variable. I agree that this choice of example is silly, though.
