In the statement "As distance from the sun increases, period of revolution increases" which is the dependent variable, and which is the independent, i need this information for my data chart.|||The independent variable is the one that is changing - so in this case, it is the distance from the sun.
The dependent variable is the one that DEPENDS on the outcome of the independent variable. So in this case, it is the period of revolution.
The period of revolution DEPENDS on how far the distance is from the sun.
