Unique baby names for an african american boy or girl?

Im now 3 months pregnant but i decided to wait until i was out of my first trimester to begin picking out baby names. For a boy, i like Cashmere or Kierdan and for a girl, i like Cherish or Lanai (La-Nye). although i dont think that these are very "unique". My boyfriend isnt much help when it comes to picking out names either. Please help !|||I like Kessiah for a girl, or Maleigha. you could spell that one M'leah if you wanted a unique spelling.|||Your son is not a sweater, and your daughter is not a beloved porch.

I'm not sure why race has anything to do with the name, unless you are drawing from a particular ethnic background. Like, from an actual language.

Unique is really, really unimportant when you're an adult. It's not like there's never been a successful Elizabeth or Henry.

Go for legit and uncommon. I'll try to work with similar sounds.

Male:

Ciaran (pronounced like KEER-an)

Calvin

Darius

Titus

Asher

Leilani

Aileen

Rochelle

Irina

Nadine

Sabrina|||I like Lanai for a girl and Kierdan for a boy, but here are some others you may like:
