I am doing a study that compares the number of cars sold in a province to how much gas that province uses. I don't know what variable is which. Tell me what you think. ThanksWhat is the dependent and independent variable?
independent=amount of cars
dependent=amount of gas
independent variables can be: causes or influences upon behavior; the variable
manipulated in an experiment, background factors or external stimuli(ie:heredity)
dependent variables can be: results, effects, observed behaviors, attitudes, test
scores, patient improvement, outcomes; decisions or choices made by the
subject(s)What is the dependent and independent variable?
compare # cars (dependant) to how much gas used (independant)
dependant is usually the y variable and independant is the x variable
